Covid Travel Guidelines

The country of Honduras is now accepting international travelers with a Covid Negative test result presented within 72 hours of arrival. We recommend contacting your airline and Honduran Ministry of Tourism as you plan your travels to get the latest update. Turtle Beach Sanctuary has also implemented new Covid guidelines for the safety of our guests and team. (See Covid guidelines under about us section.)

International Travel by Air

Book flights on most major airlines into either the mainland City of San Pedro Sula (SAP) or the neighboring island to Utila called Roatan (RTB).  Both these International Airports provide options to connect to the small island of Utila.

If connecting via San Pedro Sula

Book a commuter flight on CM Airlines or by private charter plane that can be arranged with a local travel agent Worldwide Travel.

If connecting via Roatan

Scheduled flights are available on CM Airlines or by private charter plane that can be arranged with a local travel agent Worldwide Travel.  There is also a ferry that travels between the islands called The Utila Dream.  Please plan to arrive in Roatan no later than noon if you want to catch the 2PM ferry to Utila!
